-sigggggghhhhh- I've been so artistically drained. September sapped all of my skill. I've had trouble bringing myself to draw. The two most recent pictures I posted are literally the only things I've drawn this month. I guess I need to give myself time.

I've been kind of busy in the costume shop recently. We're working on Eurydice and Commadia both right now. It's been a bit intense. And exciting. I got to help make wigs. It was an interesting experience. We dyed a ton of twine of different weights, unraveled it, created wefts, frayed them out, and sewed them to the wig caps we made. They're really cool looking. Like moss people hair. Everyone in the shop has been working on them when they had spare time, because the process takes a long time. We're getting close to being finished with both shows though. This weekend we distressed everything, and broke out the paint. I can't wait to see the final production. It's definitely nice seeing a costume go on stage, knowing you helped create it.

Also, my mother gave me the supplies to start doing bead work. It's really fun. I don't have much time for it, but I'm trying to get better. My efforts right now are a little wobbly looking, but with time I think I'll definitely improve. Maybe one day I'll be able to post pictures of something I've made. I'm hoping to get good enough to decorate my shawl. I've been waiting to build a new regalia, because my shawl was plain. I wanted to know what colors I'd need. Also, I need to pick a design element to work with.
